WARRANTIES REQUIRE MAINTENANCE

An HVAC system is pretty much a necessity for any residential or commercial space here in the Southeastern United States, and Carolina Beach and Wilmington, NC are no exception.  It is believed that the invention of air conditioning was one of the biggest factors that contributed to the development of the American South and also why the South took longer to develop than other areas of the country.  Plain and simple, it gets ridiculously hot and humid during the summer months and can make everyday tasks, let alone work tasks, almost unbearable to do in the heat. 

Having a heating and cooling system in your home or business is not only necessary due to where we live, but also a big investment.  At Dixon’s Service Company we exclusively use Lennox HVAC systems because we believe they are worth the investment and will run efficiently and will stand the test of time.  Lennox also has a comprehensive warranty plan should you ever need parts or components of your HVAC system replaced. 

In order to ensure that you are staying under warranty, it’s important to send in that warranty information that comes with your new equipment.  It’s also important to keep that paperwork on file in case you need to reference it in the future. 

One of the best ways to ensure that the parts and components of your HVAC system are covered under warranty is to sign up for a maintenance plan. Many of the parts and components of HVAC systems require a record of regular maintenance in order to be in compliance with the factory warranty.  If your HVAC system has been neglected, dirty, and un-maintained for a long period of time, damaged parts may not be under warranty.  However a properly-maintained heating and cooling system and a solid record of maintenance will provide necessary documentation for warranty compliance should you have trouble with any parts or components of your HVAC system.
